EMPLOYERS

We make your business compliant by law and manage the complete chain of events when an incident occurs.

WHAT TO EXPECT

At COID Consult, we manage the complete chain of events when an employee of your company gets injured or contracts a disease within your work place.

We also look after employees who are injured in motor vehicle accidents whilst driving for your company.

Accidents outside the Republic are also catered to.

We ensure that you are fully compliant with COIDA. This includes getting your Letter Of Good Standing annually.

Where an employee is booked of for 3 days or more, the employer must pay the employee at least 75% of his or her salary. Where the employee meets with a permanent disability, the fund will pay compensation to such an employee.

We will claim from the fund all salaries you advanced dating back to 2011. This is, where an employee was off for longer than 3 days, and you as the employer paid him/her 75% of their salary, you are entitled to get those monies back in terms of Section 47 of COIDA.

Where you have paid medical accounts on behalf of your employee, we can recover those monies as well.

We also attend to the employee in their personal capacity. We remove the headache, of you having to deal with the employee’s claim. This enables your HR or Finance department to concentrate on what they do best.
